File Backup offers a smart backup technology known as block-level incremental backup. Also known as block differential technology, File Backup backs up only the changed parts of your files (at the block level) for far faster, easier and more efficient backup.

Imagine that you change a few words in a 500-page Word document, and then want to immediately back up that important file. Most backup services need to back up the entire large file during each backup session which typically takes a lot of time. File Backup, on the other hand, only needs to back up the changed parts of your file (called the "delta") which greatly saves transmission times.

This technology also makes it possible for File Backup to store the 10 most recent versions of a file (known as versioning) for much better file recovery options in the event your most recent file version becomes corrupt, gets deleted, etc.
